A selection of my recent work

On the right there are four 'link-images' relating to our most recent work. Run your mouse over these to see a short report on each or click to see the site.

We usually focus on a single project at a time, giving it our full attention. We do work with partners for the logo and backoffice work and always run our work by a varied selection of trusted 'critics' throughout the design process.

All of these websites are hand coded from scratch, we do not use templates - and all images are either from our stock library or the client's own personal collection.

I hope you like the designs and would of course appreciate any feedback - good or bad - that you may have. Thank you.

Affordable luxury in your home

CEDIA member Michael Blake wanted a website for his growing company - Bespoke Installations. The site needed to capture the elegance of these luxury home entertainment installations, without frightening anyone off.

The website uses a lot of images made available to Michael as a dealer and the colour scheme is intended to introduce a feeling of functional indulgence. The uncluttered site is easy to navigate and quickly steers you where you want to go.

Devon's oldest Rugby Club

I have long been a member of this old Rugby Club and have thouroughly enjoyed watching this website grow, week by week

The secret to this site's success for me is ease of use, a great colour scheme and a steady supply of fantastic images from the Tiverton Gazette.

This website will grow with an online shop and stronger links with the RFU and children's clubs but the framework is there. This is a good example of a large, yet easy to navigate website. The latest addition was a PHP guestbook from developer - Lee Fogarty

Made up with new site

Michelle Maxwell is a professional Make-up Artist who specialises in Wedding and Studio Make-up. Although Devon enjoys a vibrant and high profile status in the Wedding 'Industry' - most of the brides are from further afield, so an online presence was a necessity for Michelle.

Weddings are planned meticulously and far ahead, so a bride will often go on-line to find a location. Short of bringing your own make-up artist with you, a local professional is the answer and Michelle is just that!

The site has a luxurious and professional feel with some wonderfully indulgent purples mixed in with the soft earthy browns - in fact 'Browns' in Leeds was my inspiration for the initial colour scheme and we went from there.

Balloons are Essential

Julie Green set up her business and found herself in a bit of a niche with a service that had previously been popular in the states but almost unheard of here in the UK

This was the first problem with the design as ALL imagery and logos from the manufacturers were awful, gawdy American things that made me wince when I thought of them on a website of mine!

After much deliberation and changes in design, layout, navigation ... in fact just about everything ... I finally convinced Julie to allow me to go down the contemporary route with some solid, bold stock images of balloons - then we started getting somewhere.
